During the summer the Main castle tower will extend its opening hours, special event at Osaka Castle Hommaru area.

During summer extension of the Main Tower
【Good Evening Café at Osaka Castle ～ 大阪城夕涼み茶屋】
We open limited term during the summer extension with main tower. Hommaru area set up for table and chair you can chill out in evening time with drink and food under the shade tent like a cafeterias.
天守閣の夏の開館延長に合わせ、本丸広場では、キッチンカーと、日よけテント・カフェテリアによるサービスを行います。
昼間は、広場の一角に日よけテントを設け、来園者に自由に使用してもらい、足を休めて頂き、このエリアの暑さと熱中症への対策として活用します。
夕方は、美しい本丸の時間帯を「夕涼み茶屋」でお過ごしください。天守閣が正面に見えるエリアに椅子とテーブルをご用意。冷たい飲み物や軽食で、気軽に楽しんでいただきます。

【Uchimizu Experience ～ 打ち水体験イベント】
In the morning and evening, we will carry out the quaint custom of Japan, “Uchimizu”! Those who wish will experience “Uchimizu” and enjoy the Japan-like summer. (The water used is highly treated water.)
午前と夕方に、日本の趣のある風習「打ち水」を実施します！
希望者には「打ち水」を体験いただき、日本らしい夏を味わっていただきます。 （使用する水は、高度処理水を利用します）
